Blend Commerce Wins CRO Agency of the Year at the Global Agency Awards 2026

The results are in and Blend Commerce have been crowned Global CRO Agency of the Year at the Global Agency Awards 2026. Naturally we’re proud of every win, but this is the first time we’ve won a global award, and it does feel special.

If we’re really honest, we’ve always aimed to be the best in the world at Blend. Not because “best CRO agency in the world” has a nice ring to it (although we’re not above enjoying that). But just as a byproduct of always doing everything we can be better and give Shopify stores the best CRO services anyone possibly can.

Being awarded Global CRO Agency of the Year isn’t a pinnacle for us. We’re not about to sit back and chill. It’s a statement of intent and a benchmark for what Shopify stores should expect from working with us.

About Blend Commerce

Blend Commerce is a specialist Shopify CRO agency, founded in 2017 by brothers-in-law Adam Pearce and Peter Gardner as one of the first agencies in the UK to offer dedicated Shopify development services. We came to specialise in CRO after we realised that most of the problems we were solving were to do with getting customers to buy now, buy more and buy again.

Today we’re an established team of 11 senior digital specialists, all highly experienced in working with ecommerce brands. We’ve stayed intentionally small and concentrated with senior specialist staff because we believe clients get better outcomes when the work stays in experienced hands.

Global CRO Agency of the Year: Celebrating Our Win

Celebrating is a bit different when you’re a remote team – we’re across three continents, with co-founder Peter on the other side of the world in Australia. So although we couldn’t all get together, that did underscore the validity of our new global title.

Instead, those of us at the awards ceremony made it a night to remember, while the rest raised a glass from their homes. Afterwards we did get together virtually on our usual all-company video call. We took a moment there to all properly reflect on what we’d achieved as Team Blend by being named Global CRO Agency of the Year – just how big an accolade that is, the quality of work that it reflects, and how much it recognises the incredibly hard work that every member of the Blend Commerce team puts in.

What This Award Win Means to Blend

We’re incredibly proud that we can now say Blend Commerce is officially recognised as the best CRO agency in the world. As an international agency with clients across the world in the UK, US, Europe and Australia, this recognition matters to us.

When we were announced on the shortlist for the 2026 Global Agency Awards we talked about our pride at being finalists. The win is obviously well beyond that, and it’s been a visible morale boost for the team – it genuinely does mean a lot to every one of us. 

We also notice the difference award wins like this make to our business, and as an international agency the global recognition is a helpful trust signal for ecommerce brands looking for a top CRO agency. Many of our previous award wins are in the UK and Europe, while we have a lot of clients in the US. There does seem to be a correlation between award recognition and inbound enquiries globally, which is great to see.

What the Judges Said about Blend Commerce

Look, we were very proud of the judges’ comments:

With a lean team, the agency has structured a compelling offer and delivered remarkable results for clients, with revenue metrics and turnover rates that would be impressive at any scale, let alone this one.”

What we love about these remarks is that, while they’re generally lovely praise, they directly reflect the things that we deliberately work on: having a massive impact with an intentionally heavyweight team that delivers exceptional results for clients in real revenue terms – not chasing vanity metrics.

Blend’s Award-Winning Work in CRO: Winning Results

We wrote in detail about the work that got us here in our finalist post. And since then we’ve continued to push the bar. Some recent analysis by our strategy team found that our average A/B test win rate for the past 12 months across all clients is 59%. Large-scale analysis by Optimizely has found that 12.5% is the global average for a win on the experiment’s primary metric, while 40% is representative of “an excellent agency”.

We even document some of this work in public, with our library of A/B tests. Just one example for a sports nutrition client drove a 56% increase in conversion rate, achieving an overall 9.63% up from 6.18%, leading in almost any industry.

We’ve carried on accelerating AI research workflows without compromising on quality, and we’re confident this is going to lead us to even better results in 2027.

Over the past year we’ve also seen a huge uptick in traffic to the Blend site from AI search platforms, showing that we’re recognised more and more as a leading authority on CRO, and a highly trusted agency globally.
