According to the National Yogurt Association, for this delicious dairy treat to be considered healthy, it must have at least 100 million cultures per gram. While we have very little to do with the production of natural yoghurt, you can imagine our delight when we made the shortlist for the Best Agency Culture in 2022.

Business culture is a definition in flux. But as a digital marketing agency, there are several key ingredients to our culture that are imperative to the success of our business and, moreover, the success of our employees. As the old saying goes, you’re only as strong as your weakest link.

Healthy competition, a desire to constantly improve, feeling safe to learn and grow, being a part of a community, and trusting the team around you. What it comes down to is respect and genuine care for others.

We like to think of it as strength in numbers, a collaboration of ideas, and a willingness to grow together.

In short, we are Yoghurt Digital, and we are among the Global Agency Award finalists for the Best Agency Culture in 2022.

A Love Affair With Data, Not Opinions

The proof is in the pudding, or in this case, yoghurt. Our About Us page states right off the bat that we offer “big agency experience” with small agency care and hustle. However, it’s our mantra “a love affair with DATA, not opinions” that truly makes us who we are as an agency.

Data, not opinions, drive our strategies. With digital marketing growing exponentially with every passing day, gone are the days of just assuming your strategies are working. By looking at the data, we keep our finger on the pulse of performance.

Much like an explorer knows true north based on their compass, Yoghurt Digital knows success because the numbers say so.

Our agency is built on intimately understanding the companies we work with, investigating the behaviour of their consumers, and preparing meaningful and actionable insights underlined by technical excellence and strategic thinking to achieve their goals.

But what about the goals of our employees? Culture doesn’t stop at the success of our clients. Beyond the company we keep, we’re a team of data lovers, number crunchers and digital strategists, and each one – past, present and future – is worthy of our care and dedication.

A Culturally Healthy Team

Our values exist not for a lofty facade but to follow and live by in everything we do. It’s a culture that proliferates collaboration, innovation and integration. Or, as one of our employees described, “a group of hilarious, motivated and passionate marketers who genuinely care about each other and our clients.”

Much like the long list of ingredients in a tub of Yoghurt, several elements go into making a culturally healthy team. However, without culture, there is no Yoghurt.

And though we promote our data-driven insights and strategic thinking, we know deep down that none of this is possible without the most crucial ingredient of all: our team.

Founded on the premise that being ‘good enough’ wasn’t good enough at all, we believe there’s always a better way, a goal we strive to achieve for our clients and our employees.

Winning Best Agency Culture

Irrespective of whether we made the finalists for the 2022 Global Agency Awards, we’ve already validated our cultural success based on the feedback and opinions of our dedicated team. That being said, we can’t help but grin from ear to ear with this international recognition for the way we do things.

Our version of “organisational culture” is being recognised on the world stage, and we couldn’t be more proud. Whether we take out the entire category or not, this is a moment of acknowledgement and distinction to be shared with every single member of the Yoghurt Digital family.

As cliche as that may sound, we take the term ‘family’ seriously. The company’s success is made possible by our team members’ sheer determination and expertise – a team of full-flavoured personalities that is constantly growing in new and exciting ways.

We’re a bunch of highly motivated digital marketers looking to show the industry the power of data and understanding consumer behaviour. And as finalists for the 2022 Global Agency Awards, it’s safe to assume we’re on the right track.

Our Values

From its inception, innovation has been required in everything we do. We understood that without constant and never-ending improvement, Yoghurt would lose our competitive edge. We developed four foundational values to ensure success and satisfaction at Yoghurt Digital. Not just as guidelines but essential instructions for what it means to be a Yogi.

Tell It Like It Is

We pride ourselves on our ability to give and receive open, honest and constructive feedback to anyone, from anyone – regardless of hierarchy or title.

Make It Happen

We’re solutions-oriented, and we work tirelessly to do what we promised our clients and each other.

Genuine Care For Others

This team is a family, and we look after each other as such.

Level Up

We’re deeply curious and seek to learn more about what we don’t know.

But without real action, values can be a bit meaningless. So how does Yoghurt translate these values into company benefits and perks for the Yogi family?

Perks For Being A Yogi

Flexible working arrangements, client and staff referral bonus schemes, 12-weeks paid parental leave, quarterly team events, education and training courses, never work on your birthday and, best of all, the opportunity to truly grow your career as a digital marketer.

From our incredibly successful internship program with Macquarie University to our most experienced and long-standing team members, Yoghurt Digital is an opportunity for someone to take charge of their career progression by developing and growing with us.

We also know that the hustle and bustle of the working week can take its toll on our well-being, which is why in the last week of every month, on Wednesday, we take a half-day so that employees can pursue activities for their wellbeing. During the week, we also try to limit the amount of screen time we have in favour of more meaningful activities.

We even have this little thing we call Summer Fridays, where we clock off at 3 pm every Friday to enjoy the sunshine during summer. Think of an afternoon with the Yoghurt crew at the pub or a trip to the beach – Summer Fridays are about making the most of your time at Yoghurt Digital.

Culture Matters, Choose Yoghurt Digital

Healthy yoghurt must have at least 100 million cultures per gram. Just imagine how much you’ll find in a single gram of Yoghurt Digital. Let’s talk about growing your business with the help of our agency culture and digital marketing expertise.
