SEONGON – Top 1 Google AI Marketing Agency in Vietnam – is proud to be shortlisted at the Global Agency Awards 2026 in the Best SEO Campaign category. This recognition highlights our data-driven SEO capabilities and our ability to adapt quickly to the evolving search landscape shaped by AI.

The nomination comes from our collaboration with Vietnam Airlines – a campaign that not only delivered outstanding business results but also demonstrated a new approach to SEO in the era of AI-powered search.

SEONGON – Driving sustainable growth through Google & AI

Founded in 2012, SEONGON has grown into a team of 120+ professionals across two offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), partnering with over 5,000 businesses on their digital growth journeys. Our client portfolio includes leading brands such as Vietnam Airlines, Viettel Telecom, Sun Group, FPT Telecom, AEON Mall, Decathlon, SeABank, TOSTEM, ROX and more.

We position ourselves as the largest Google AI Marketing Agency in Vietnam, with a core strength in building tailored strategies based on each client’s unique business challenges. At SEONGON, every project goes beyond execution, it is a long-term partnership focused on solving growth problems and delivering sustainable results.

The campaign: Turning AI challenges into SEO advantage

The shortlisted campaign, “SEONGON & Vietnam Airlines: Turning AI Challenges into an SEO Advantage to Dominate Domestic Search and Expand Globally” was developed in a highly competitive aviation industry, where search behavior is rapidly evolving due to AI Overviews.

In this project, SEONGON and Vietnam Airlines set out three strategic objectives:

  • Dominate high-conversion domestic flight keywords to capture market share
  • Expand internationally by ranking for “flight to Vietnam” keywords across six key markets
  • Drive sustainable organic traffic growth to reduce reliance on paid media

Strategy: Combining SEO, data, and AI to outperform the market

SEONGON implemented a comprehensive SEO strategy grounded in data and AI adaptability. At its core was a hub-and-cluster content model built around destinations, tightly integrated with flight product pages to maximize conversion.

The website was redefined beyond a transactional platform into an emotional touchpoint, leveraging visual storytelling, SEO-optimized structure, and market-specific personalization to enhance user experience.

At the same time, international SEO was executed using a Test & Scale model, allowing the team to validate strategies quickly and efficiently expand what works. All activities were powered by real-time data systems, enabling continuous monitoring and agile optimization.

Crucially, instead of avoiding the impact of AI Overviews, SEONGON embraced it, proactively optimizing content to appear as cited sources within AI-generated answers, turning a major industry disruption into a competitive advantage.

Team culture: One team, one shared goal

Behind the campaign’s success is a distinct way of working. SEONGON operates not as an external vendor, but as an extension of the client’s in-house team.

A SEONGON representative shared:

“We understand that behind every project lies a business challenge and real expectations. That’s why we focus on listening, understanding, and delivering the most effective solutions to support sustainable growth.”

This One-team mindset enables the team to stay closely aligned with business objectives, monitor performance daily, and proactively adjust strategies to maximize impact.

What this shortlist means to us

In a world where AI is reshaping how people search and consume information, being shortlisted at the Global Agency Awards 2026 is a significant milestone for SEONGON.

It reflects not only our execution capabilities and strategic thinking but also the growing presence of Vietnamese agencies on the global stage. More importantly, this campaign proves that AI is not a threat to SEO – but an opportunity for those who know how to leverage it effectively.

Another SEONGON representative added:

“Being shortlisted is both a recognition and a motivation for us to keep innovating. SEO is evolving with AI, and we believe those who adapt fastest will lead the future.”
