We’re incredibly excited to share that Aperture Comms has been shortlisted for Best Small Agency at the Global Agency Awards 2025. A moment of pride for our team, our clients, and the community we’ve built since day one.

Who is Aperture Comms?

Founded in 2022 by two co-founders Amy and Jack, Aperture Comms has rapidly grown into a dynamic, full-service digital marketing agency specialising in hospitality, retail, and leisure brands. In just under three years, we’ve expanded to a talented team of 11 full-time specialists, including a Creative Director, Managing Director, Account Director, Marketing Assistants, Account Managers, a dedicated Content Creator, and a Partnerships Manager.

Our work is rooted in bold ideas, creative execution, and measurable impact. We don’t just help brands grow, we help them go viral, tell their stories authentically, and make them seen in a busy saturated market.

What’s so Special About Aperture?

Our nomination recognises a year of tremendous impact, including standout campaigns, new client wins, and a strategic merger that doubled our agency size. One of our proudest moments came through our work with Tarantella, a small, family-run Italian restaurant in Chiswick. To boost bookings and brand awareness, we devised a bold concept: a Giant 2KG Espresso Martini Tiramisu. It quickly became a viral hit, gaining over 2 million views on a single influencer reel and transforming the restaurant into a must-visit dining spot in London. Another campaign video generated 500,000 views and 20,000 likes, showcasing our strength in storytelling, virality, and audience connection.

We also led the launch of Glass Garden, a modern Chinese restaurant in Southwark. With our influencer activation and launch campaign, we helped them grow their Instagram following by 1,000 new followers in two weeks – a staggering 1,328% increase. This positioned them as a key player in the capital’s dining scene.

In addition, we spearheaded the full rebrand of Chayote to Chicome, crafting a new name and identity that aligned with its sophisticated Mexican fusion offering. And in a landmark moment for our agency, we successfully merged with The Mother Dough agency in October 2024. This brought seven new clients into our portfolio, including household names like Honi Poke, Time Out, and Choppaluna and enabled us to grow both our team and capabilities.

What is The Value of This Nomination?

“Being shortlisted for Best Small Agency is a huge milestone. It’s a testament to the late nights, creative breakthroughs, and relentless drive that fuels our team every single day.

Jack Howson, Co-Founder, Aperture Comms

Entering the Global Agency Awards pushed us to reflect on how far we’ve come. Seeing it all laid out, the client success stories, growth milestones, and team wins, made us even prouder of what we’ve built. We are incredibly lucky to have a motivated team who all worktogether to make the magic happen.”

— Amy Fahey, Creative Director, Aperture Comms

This nomination is more than a pat on the back. It validates the risks we’ve taken, the creativity we’ve championed, and the results we’ve delivered. It tells our clients (and future ones) that they’re in safe, ambitious hands. And it motivates us to keep pushing boundaries in what we do best; delivering viral moments, brand transformations, and meaningful results.

How We Achieved Our Business Goals?

From January to December 2024, we tripled our client portfolio from 11 to 33, grew our team from 4 to 11 full-time staff, and increased our revenue by 153% year-on-year.

We also achieved a staff turnover rate of just 23%, below the UK average for marketing agencies, thanks to a supportive, agile, and creativity-led culture. This recognition is not just a celebration of past work—it’s fuel for our future. It positions us as one of the industry’s top emerging agencies and helps us forge new partnerships, attract top talent, and continue evolving with our clients.
